I think it is amusing. I really think it is.
Lately, I have seen so many people posting statuses about graduation and entering the society and how scary it is. The cynical part of me did give a scoff and a chuckle, wondering if this is some gimmick to accumulate likes.
There is nothing scary about finding work. Honestly speaking. Maybe you should be worried if there is no work waiting for you.
But if there is, you should be heartened and be glad that finally after years of studying, you are giving back to the society.
I am not going to say work is all fun and play. It is not. Some days I do burn the midnight oil and unlike schooling days, I can't take my much wanted afternoon nap. But it is definitely more meaningful than school life.
You start making differences to people's life each day, no matter how small it is. Perhaps I am just one of the rare breeds. But I enjoy working. It makes me feel alive.
Don't be afraid of entering the workforce. Find something you like and what can go wrong, really.
