我中了帥哥計

Lately, I have been so freaking busy, meeting people after people. And by people, I do not mean friends just in case you are wondering “why not me?”

I do notice a change in me. I am actually more sociable and visibly more bold and audacious than before. Good or bad, I don’t know but I am definitely more outspoken and less afraid to interact with strangers.

I went for an NTU job yesterday and wow, it’s amazing how you can meet more people at work. Actually, I am quite passive when it comes to building bridges. But I really like listening to people’s stories. We can’t experience everything in life and I can live with vicarious learning. It dawn upon me that I am forever strategically positioned near food sources at my jobs because I have a look that is not easily distracted by food. Lol! I was joking that palmistry reads “Never Hungry”. But considering, I kept koping food, the 2 guys I were working with concluded I am “Forever Hungry”.

I am a glutton. My greatest downfall will be due to greed. I cannot resist good food. Sigh.
Today was quite a sunny day with slight rainfall. The weather aptly depicts my luck of the day. The lunch appointment was enjoyable for me. I was listening on like a wide-eyed child, with eyes sparkling with delight at the tales of the sea.

Then I decided to chill at Starbucks before dinner date and I met this super good-looking Caucasian. I have a side-photo of him only because Cat and WQ wanted to see. I swear it is NOT because I have stalkish behavior.

Okay, beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder. He is my cup of Starbucks, happy? I realize I have an affinity for ang-mohs. Lol!

Really doubted the fact he took my Ishuffle. I am saying this not because I am smitten by him like those ignorant housewives on TV that are scammed and still live in denial. It is because I really don’t think so. But then, he seems like a plausible suspect. Oh well, in life you lose some, you win some. If I had proof he was the thief, I would have set the coast guards/customs after him considering I do have some information on where his next destination is.

But seriously, he is really an interesting young chap. I noticed him firstly because of his good looks but I did not chat him up. He approached me first. I caught him staring intently at my port homework. And so I stared at him staring at my work. And he smiled and went “Maths?”

I flipped my work back and forth before going “not really” and then the conversation just flowed. He was sharing with me a lot about his bag packing trips and the culture do(s) and don’t(s) and asking about a lot about our culture. Part of me believes that why on earth would this tourist kope my cui ishuffle. But he is charming, he has this super cute smile that enthralled me. It is a good mix between those masculine guffaw and school-boy laugh. I am trying my best to describe why I fall prey. Please do not mistake this as a display of my English poweress LOL!

And he added me on FB. Weird action for a thief? To throw me off-guard? Actually he didn’t add me; he used my FB to add himself. And he accepted his request which I thought he won’t if he was the thief. But still, he is smoldering compared to the exchange boys in MS. Head over heels in love with this hunk, but yes I know I have a love in every city during exchange. My words of infatuation are not to be trusted.

But here, we see the power of make-up. Make-up attracts company. Either that or it is my seductive slouchy “nua” position on the sofa. And to end off the day, with a blast, it is confirmed I am going to Cambodia and LORAX here I come!
