The Scent

Ironical title for the post since it is pretty apparent I just lost my sense of smell and have decided to quarantine myself within these 4 walls.

According to the description, it has top notes of pear and red berries accord, heart notes of white gardenia and frangipani flower, and base notes of brown sugar accord and patchouli. Yeah, now my scent has upgrade its status. It now matches my wallet...like anyone would care about such trivialities.

The first thing I did when I received it this afternoon was spray the surrounding like it was a air freshener to test the scent. So I sprayed old and new scent alternately to compare the both. All the whiffing made me dizzy and is probably the cause for my flu too. Compared to my old scent, Flora is much stronger and muskier. I think it smells manly like a cologne. To think it is named flora, I don't find it very flowery. Gah...I think I like my old scent better.

Old Still Smells Better

And the stupid thing is that my scent is not for sale anymore. -.- Disappointing.
Doubt I will be using my new scent any time soon, since I bought the short bottle (old scent) back in 2009 where there was buy 3 for the price of 2 at body shop. Remembered it clearly cos I even gave the third bottle away as a farewell gift. I thought it was the perfect gift - giving someone your scent. It's like when they miss you, they can spray it somewhere and be reminded of you. Aww~~ sounds vaguely romantic, although the intention at the point of time was because there was a discount. LOL!

3 years down the road, I still have half a bottle left even though I use it as a air freshener and spray it at my brother when he stinks my area. I will probably touch Flora in 2015 and it can be my life scent. -.-

If you smell good, you probably taste good.
If you taste good...

If there is any maker of scent, please make one that smells like fresh bed linen. <3 Lol! It will remind me of my bed.

Actually scents are overrated, if you smell like fresh laundry, it is probably good enough. Right? Why musk your natural "laundry" smell with perfumes and cologne? Unless your clothes freshener stink, which I think mine does.  -.- It has that disgusting "I am damp smell".

The small bottle looks cuter...awww

Spend the last 2 days identifying 100++ coordinate points, drew 50++ layers in which more than half was trial and "damnit" errors. Feeling a little perversely happy... work till you drop dead...lol...

And as if life wanted to give me some material support, I am going to get a new pair of jeans.
I don't really buy jeans. I only have like 2 pairs which I bought (which 1 is a fake look-alike), 30 over hand-me-downs. Finally, I don't have to grow into my jeans. =)
