I don't really think I can be "labelled" as hopelessly romantic, but I am definitely romantic hopeless. Lol!
But even unromantic people have their ideal moment. And if you noticed, moment doesn't have a 's' in it. It is that one moment - picture perfect, with that one person. And it has to be saved for the right person at the right time. And it should be absolutely natural and not pre-planned. I think my moment seems pretty easy to happen naturally.
Have you thought of yours? Cos I just came out with mine.
That moment with you:
Boy and girl strolling along the beach. Girl nimbly waltz around, kicking sand in a dance-like fashion. Boy follows closely but not too closely (about half a car length away) just simply observing thoughtfully.
Girl smiles gleefully at boy and plops down on the sand and looks wishfully at the sun setting. Boy follow suits, sitting beside the girl (about 1 ruler away) silently and looks ahead.
And at one point in time, Boy and Girl cast a blissful glance at each other and share a secret smile.
Erm, if you are expecting more. No, it's over. End of story. That's my ideal moment - no touching and there is no dialogue. Because the ideal romance shouldn't be about physical contact but a connection of thoughts.
I did have a few other creative moment"s", that I thought were pretty original. But none were as dream-like as the above mentioned.
1. The proposal using mahjong tiles. He will be like "Hu" Then smack down the tiles that spell " Marry Me!" LOl! (However, only exclusive for mahjong players)
2. Waiting for you at the causeway with a "Welcome Home!" banner with lots of balloon. The perfect embarrassment.
3. I thought this was pretty beautiful. A guy bringing a girl to a tree filled with folded cranes. Picture perfect, but loses its effect on a rainy day. Sigh. IMPRACTICAL!

5. For honeymoon, Boy and Girl going to the airlines counter with the first flight out of the town bringing nothing just a credit card. (I like this one. It is not picture perfect but hell spontaneous.)
